MOTMDP

PRDP affirms my belief of not getting lured by Bhaijaan's movies. Here the lure was Sooraj Barjatiya and for me Sonam Kapoor (I m a die hard fan).
PRDP is predictable same old wine in same old bottle. Bol Radha bol and many such movies have tried n tested this formula over and over again.
Salman as Prem Dilwala is cute and lovable with Bajrangi Bhaijaan hangover. At times uncomfortable especially in the puppet show song.
Sonam Kapoor is beautifully dressed up. Looks good, does her bit well. Swara Bhaskar, Deepak Dobriyal, Sanjay Mishra wasted completely. Neil Nitin Mukesh has no choice, I suppose. Armaan Kohli should be simply grateful.
The endorsements in the movie are so prominent at times they are literally thrown into the scenes and on our face like Croma, Pigeon, Canon, PNG Jewelers And best is Haldiram.
The old world charm and modern world at times overlap and you wonder in which time period is this movie exactly set in. Like in the place Haldiram is available but surprisingly when Swara Bhaskar calls angrily for a rickshaw, you expect an auto-rickshaw ...instead...what you get to see is a Cycle-rick so you are left wondering... which place is this?
The production is shabby and at times overdone. Like in the scene where Prem gets all possible truck loads of electronic gadgets (all from CROMA) for his sisters... their home is almost freshly painted but Prem who is suppose to be Kuwsrji... his shoes are not even polished. The Sheesh Mahal is located on a waterfall. I am keen to know the architect. The mirror maze is a stupid waste of resources and completely unnecessary.
At places the movie actually drags and very annoyingly in every scene where Maitheli and Prem come face to face there is a strangely irritating and gloomy background score.
The football scene is immediately after the interval and it's the most out of place scene ever. There are for some vague reason three men dressed in uniforms of Army, Navy and Airforce and everyone starts playing football... all that... to get the younger sister out of the house.
Prem Dilwale gives away all the palaces n blah blah blah to his sisters... how exactly? Who signed the papers?
Ajay and Chirag are so helpless in front of Prem, literally, they behave helpless and do nothing even after knowing he isn't the real one. Probably Bhaijaan didn't want to share too much screen space with them so they dare not even confront him.
PRDP is nothing but a poor replica of 1990's  Subhash Ghai movie. But what Sjubhasji can do Sooraj Babu you cannot. So you should have stuck to extended marriage album which is truly your forte and no one does it better than you.
If there was a refund policy to films I would be first in the line. The promotion did the trick. The best shots of the film are strictly only in the trailor. So by the time you are half way through the movie its too late you have already been fleeced of your hard earned money.
I just wish from the bottom of my heart that the amount of money that has been spent on creating the cardboard sets and flowers and ensemble cast could have been utilised to feed 1000 or more starved people this Diwali ...more so... I could have done the same with the money I spent on buying tickets for this manipulative self proclaimed successful commodity called PRDP.
Sooraj Babu I loved Maine Pyaar Kiya I loved Hum Aapke Hai Kaun I loved Hum Saath Saath Hai so as your ardent admirer and as a consumer of your product I assert ...DO not make such expensive mistakes  they may be a money spinning module for you but for a layman it could be her/his pasine ka kamai.

As for bhaijaan's fans ...its a treat ... coz there are two bhaijaans to shower their Prem. And with two bhaijaans being present the others hardly have anything to say or do.

By the time you read this... the Movie would already be declared as 2015 ki Sabse Badi Blockbuster the social media would be abuzz with criticism and reviews and opinions. And of course one Mr.KRK would have ripped it off. So whether you watch it or not it shall play on every channel very soon (part of the business MODULE), whether you liked it or not, whether you give your opinion or not... one thing is sure MAKERS OF THE MOVIE DHAN PAYO.

Yours Humbly
Movie Goer
